myBCN is a boutique company offering small-group and private walking tours in Barcelona. Every route is crafted by locals who know the backstreets, not just the landmarks. Our most loved experience is the Introduction to Barcelona’s Old Town Gothic Quarter Walking Tour. It explores ancient Roman ruins, medieval courtyards, hidden corners, and the symbols of Catalan identity that still shape the city today. We also host deep dives into the life and work of Gaudí, themed half-day explorations, and intimate wine dinners. Everything is curated with care. We don’t do mass tourism; we create moments you’ll remember.

Why We Started myBCN
Jana and Matt didn’t set out to build a company. They were looking for a better way to connect travelers with the places they loved. She left the corporate world behind, bringing storytelling, warmth, and a passion for language. He brought years of experience walking these streets with guests, along with an obsession for architecture, maps, and global heritage. Since then, they’ve explored more than 350 UNESCO World Heritage Sites together, guided thousands of guests through Barcelona, and built a team of storytellers who care about people as much as they care about history. myBCN is the result of that shared vision: personal, immersive, and human travel.

Eventually, Jana and Matt joined forces and built something far beyond what they imagined. Today, myBCN is a small company with a big heart. It’s still run by the same two people, still rooted in the same values. They now collaborate with a growing team of passionate locals who keep the experience personal and real. From neighbourhood routes to UNESCO-inspired storytelling, every part of the journey is handcrafted with intention.
